Shana Dancer Licensed Masters Social Worker, Certified Yoga Teacher
Shana Dancer is the owner of RedBloom Yoga, in addition to being a Licensed Masters Social Worker and Certified Yoga Teacher. Her background in mental health began in her late adolescence when she decided that it was her life's purpose to speak for those that did not have a voice. Upon graduation from Olivet College with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice in 2014, she explored her education further by obtaining her Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2016.
Since then, she has spent her time counseling individuals, primarily those that had run-ins with law enforcement, while also encouraging holistic practices without even knowing it! She has often suggested breathing techniques, changing eating and sleeping habits, and developing healthier relationships, amongst other facets of wellness.
During her time at her undergraduate institution, Shana found yoga. She initially signed up for the class to receive yet another credit towards her degree and also in hopes to stretch her sore muscles after hours of swimming practice. But, once she began to learn more about the history of yoga outside of just the physical movements, she fell in love. Shana continued her practice intermittently for the next 6 years, until she finally decided to become a certified yoga instructor herself in 2019. Since that time she has completed her 200 hour certification in Vinyasa Yoga, Chair Yoga certification to assist those that may not be able to engage in the physical aspects of "traditional" yoga, Pre and Post Natal Yoga, and Trauma Sensitive Yoga.

Mel Bailey
Mel's relationship with yoga began in 2002, while in Midwifery school in New Mexico. Three years later, while practicing Midwifery in the same city, she was surprised to find there were no prenatal yoga classes. Pregnant herself at the time, she decided to get her yoga instructor certification with a specialty in prenatal (pregnancy) yoga. This naturally led to yoga with babies, since many women wanted to continue after birth.
When she moved back home to Mt. Pleasant, she again found no yoga classes specifically for pregnant women and their babies. She has been privileged to provide this service in other yoga studios in Mt. Pleasant, and now leads prenatal, postnatal, baby & me, and much more at RedBloom. She am also excited to expand our community by offering education and support to women during pregnancy, early motherhood, menopause, and those dealing with issues related to being a woman. This is her passion and calling!
Mel says, " Yoga has become a way of life for me, and I am glad to be able to share the many benefits with others. It extends way beyond our mats, impacting our lives each day."

Jordan Rios, RYT-200
Like many things in life, it is easy to let things fall out of balance. As a busy student several years ago, yoga became a way for me to reconnect with myself and find what I was missing.
Now post grad in social work, it has become a passion of mine to help others feel the same when they come to their mat. Come enjoy a slow, restorative practice with me."

Kelly Lawson, RYT-200
Kelly is a 200-hour Yoga instructor, has a bachelor’s degree in health education and a master’s degree in exercise science.
Health and fitness have long been a big part of her life. As a kid, Kelly danced and played various sports. In college, she began taking group fitness classes, and eventually found her way to her first Yoga class.
At first, Yoga was a way to relax, later morphing into a practice for strength and sweat. Today, she loves the spiritual/mind/body connection she feels when practicing.
As a life-long learner, Kelly seeks new ways to grow and improve, and still loves taking classes (like SCUBA!)

Jamie Morrow, Registered Nurse, Certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist, Certified Reiki Practitioner, Certified Tai Chi Easy Practice Instructor, Certified Cupping Therapist
Jamie felt called to a career in helping and healing since she was a young child. By the time she was a teenager, she knew her life's passion was in the field of mental health. Jamie had witnessed all around her the impact of trauma on the human body, the mind, the spirit, relationships, and so much more. In 2001, she enrolled in the nursing program at Baker College of Owosso and, before graduation, was offered her dream position as mental health nurse. She graduated with honors in 2004 and made the difficult yet wise decision to obtain five years of medical experience prior to diving into her passion - mental health nursing.
In 2008, while Jamie was pregnant with her youngest child and working at a local hospital, she developed life-threatening neuromuscular symptoms. Determined to survive a terminal prognosis, Jamie sought out holistic healthcare for the first time. This decision would very literally save her life, drastically improve her quality life, healed the hearts of her loved ones, and completely rerouted her career. In July of 2008, Jamie delivered a perfect baby boy and, that fall, very gratefully started her new role as a mental health crisis nurse.
Since 2008, Jamie has dedicated her career to helping those in need prevent, cope with, treat, and/or recover from mental health symptoms. She has worked in a variety of mental wellness settings and, after realizing the need was there, went looking for more ways to help the people she so proudly served. For over a decade, Jamie has lived a holistic lifestyle, surrounded herself with the most respected and experienced holistic mentors, and researched holistic modalities with a focus on holistic mental health. Jamie has obtained several certifications in holistic modalities, including Reiki, Auriculotherapy, Ear Seed Therapy, Cupping Therapy, and Tai Chi.
Today, Jamie is a local holistic business owner who passionately collaborates with other local holistic health professionals for the purpose of increasing health and happiness in the Central Michigan area. She is most passionate about spiritual health, energetic health, gut health and inflammation, as they relate to mental wellness. Her favorite holistic modalities are Reiki and Ear Seed Therapy.
